Price List 2010:
BOARDING
Deluxe Board - $325.00 per horse per month:
12x12 stall that you horse is brought into every night.
Blanketing is changed as needed, but not daily.
Grain (oats) fed up to twice daily, or is fed as supplied and directed by the horse owner.
Hay and water provided outside and in the stall. Enough to maintain a healthy body weight.
Stall cleaned after every use and bedding is added as needed.
Locker for your belongings in the tack house
Extra fees as follows:
Daily blanketing (ie. blankets on/changed for turnout and removed/changed when inside) = $5.00 per day
First-aid - depends on what is done.
Basic Board - $275.00 per horse per month:
Your horse has a designated stall, horses will be outside day and night when weather allows with ample hay and water. In bad weather, your horse is automatically brought in by CRF staff and given hay, and water inside.
Boarders are free to bring their horse into their stall at any time for any reason.
If you want your horse inside for the night at any time, either leave a note, call us, or bring him in yourself.
Blanketing and bedding is NOT inlcuded in basic board, but the service of cleaning your stall after it has been used is included.
Locker in the tack house for your belongings.
Your horse is brought in if your horse is cold, injured, or weather is bad at no extra charge.
Extra fees are as follows:
Blanketing - $2.00 per blanket changed/added/removed
Daily grain (brought in to eat and then turned back outside) - $30.00 per month
Bedding - $6.00 per bag of CRF shavings added .
First-aid - variable rates apply.
Pasture Board - $250.00 per horse per month:
Horses will be turned out 24/7 and will be provided hay and water outside.
Blanketing etc will all be the responsibility of the horse owner.
CRF staff will check the horse daily to make sure s/he is warm enough, dry enough, healthy and "standing on all 4 feet" (injury check).
IF any of the above mentioned is a concern, CRF staff will either blanket as appropriate, or bring the horse into a vacant stall if available, provide bedding and clean the stall after use.
You do not have an assigned stall.
You get first priority of floor and wall space in the tack house.
Extra fees will apply for the following:
Blanketing = $2.00 per blanket change/add/remove
Stall use = $6.00 per day/night for labour and bedding
First-aid = variable rates apply.
